- The Orkney Research and Innovation Campus (ORIC), located in Stromness, offers a range of business, educational and conference facilities for lease or short term hire. Short terms visitors are welcome to use the communal workspaces on the campus.
- The organisations currently based on the campus are; the European Marine Energy Centre, Heriot-Watt University Orkney Campus, Aquatera Ltd, Robert Gordon University Orkney, Sula Diving, Solo Energy-SMS and the Orkney Hyperbaric Trust.
- The campus has undergone a first phase of redevelopment completed in late 2020 with further improvement and expansion anticipated in coming years.
- Organisations in marine, low carbon and other relevant sectors are encouraged to visit the campus and to get in touch and speak with us to determine if we can fit your needs now or in the future.
- ORIC is a joint venture partnership between Orkney Islands Council and Highlands and Islands Enterprise.
